Biochemical Society

The Biochemical Society has been serving biochemistry and biochemists since 1911. An international membership puts you in touch with some nine thousand members world-wide. Anyone interested in biochemistry can join and may take advantage of the benefits offered by the Society which include meetings, training, grants and publications.

Bone Research Society

This is the oldest and largest scientific society in Europe that is dedicated to further research into clinical and basic science problems related to mineralised tissues. It holds meetings twice a year and attracts a wide audience from throughout the U.K. and, increasingly, from continental Europe.

British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons

The British Association of Endocrine Surgeons represents 130 endocrine surgeons from Britain and further afield.

British Menopause Society

The British Menopause Society web site deals with issues about menopause, and from time to time will contain contributions by authors writing in a private capacity.

British Society for Immunology

The British Society for Immunology (BSI) was founded to advance the science of Immunology for the benefit of the public. The BSI has over 4,200 members, of whom 3,300 are based in the United Kingdom and the remainder throughout the world. The BSI is a founder member of IUIS (The International Union of Immunological Societies) and are active members of EFIS (The European Federation of Immunological Societies).

British Society for Neuroendocrinology

The British Society for Neuroendocrinology serves to promote research and disseminate knowledge in the field of Neuroendocrinology. BSN also organise yearly meetings and other symposia.

British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes

BSPED is one of the affiliated speciality groups of the British Paediatric Association. It aims to advance education in paediatric endocrinology and related subjects by promoting research and disseminating the useful results of such research. Membership is open to those actively engaged in the clinical care of children with endocrinological disorders and diabetes mellitus and to those conducting research related to those problems.
